SO3's - what size for PAS models?

I have a 4ltr HC with PAS which needs new front boots this weekend. The hand book and the bible says that the correct fit is 215/50's - the only problem is that SO3's are not made in that size.

Can I fit 225/50's which were the standard fit for the 500 with PAS?

My Chim 400(year 2000) with PAS had 225/50ZR15 on the front when I bought it, they were the original tyres.
