The word that means "someone from the sticks" but in Scotland, i think.

It sounds like CHOOKTER but i doubt this is how its spelt.

Any proper scots know the spelling? ive always thought of it starting with a T confused

Could be either in my eyes. Glad it starts with a T however.

I thought it was spelt with Tch at the start also, but maybe seeing as theres a pub named after it maybe the second suggestions correct. Who knows!?

Edit : Both suggestions come up saying the same things on Google. frown
