Specsavers contact lenses

I've been advised by specsavers to change my current contacts to ones called 'SiH 48' by CooperVision as I'm starting to get more visible blood vessels in my eyes. The amount they want for them is fairly steep, so I have been looking to buy online but I can't find them. I did read that they are also known as biofinity SiH 48, which you can buy online. I asked specsavers and they were very evasive, they said they are probably so new they aren't available online yet so I will have to get them through them but that seems odd to me...

Could anybody confirm this?

Had them myself and they were st. My sister also hers changed and came back one day looking like she had had battery acid dripped into her eyes...

Bloody awful...

a: Just go back to speacsavers and say, i don't want them because they hurt, give me my old ones back...

Or.

b: find what your old ones were and buy them online for half the price

Had the same problem when they changed me to those, but you can get them online, I do anyway! Just can't remember where from now.

i have my lenses through vision express. and i have quite a big back log of them... would it be easier to buy them off the net when i needed them? if so are likely to be cheaper??

Yes they are quite a bit cheaper.

decent i will have to look at stopping my direct debit with them... i dont really no why i do it because my company gives free eye tests and if the lenses are cheaper off the net then i'm being pretty stupid keepin it going!!!

Yes, that's what I have started doing...

When I'm away with the army I wear the ones you can leave in overnight but usually I wear the monthly disposable ones that you take out at night...

yeah i have the 2 weekly lenses but i wear them a lot longer than 2 weeks without no problems i've slept in theses many times without problems either... eyes are a bit dry when u wake up but apart from that it doesn;t really affect me. i try not to sleep in them but sometimes i just forget about them!

But I like the new lenses.... they do make my eyes less red!
