After a lot of nagging from the wife to book a holiday, I am trying to sort out a week in the sun. Morocco is somewhere that has been suggested, and Marrakech seems like an interesting enough place- Could anyone recommend me a decent Riad in Morocco for a week in Mid April?

Not after mega luxury, free wifi would be a bonus, as would a location that is fairly easy to get to from the airport, but not too far away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Plenty of choice on this site, we booked with them and they were simplicity itself to deal with. We stayed in Darhani in the Mistress room - it was stunning:

Riyad El Cadi (www.riyadelcadi.com) was very good - just realised that was four years ago already !

Riad el Fenn, Marrakech - owned by a relative of Richard Branson (he also has a very nice hotel there if you wanted to push the boat out a little).

This is where I stayed during my visit in 2007, I loved it and would recommend it.
