If i have the faster car then il just burn off laughing.

If not, wind my windows up and drive off. Last thing i want is to be stabbed by McCracky from the estate because i looked at him funny f that! Im not the largest of blokes so when i am in an unfortunate situation i just act neutral and calm until they bugger off or back me into a corner at which point i turn into a 20 stone skin head with, ofcourse, a matching goatee.

I generally avoid confrontation when possible, very rarely get any hassle though.

IME 99% of people who mouth off are just mouthpieces, it's the other 1% thats the problem and you can never be quite sure who your dealing with.

I have had something similar, guy in audi(shock horror) i was following, stops in left hand lane for roundabout, i stop in the right hand lane. He then winds his window down and gobs off at me about how close i was to him(I was about 3 car lengths behind) and if i wanted to climb into his car i was so close etc. I just said, "no thanks, dont like audi's" and drove off. He then came after me cutting off a load of traffic whilst trying to get to my car and his smackhead-looking mate threw a load of gravel at my car! Then I realised he was a bit of a nutter and so I made good my escape and lost him.

Got a few chips on my paintwork but that was it, just so happens that the police were informed of him and paid him a little visit that evening apparently.

all depends on the situation, sometimes I get mad, sometimes I ignore it sometimes I just laugh.

edit: got pissed off at a petrol station the other day when I was filling up the guy decided to cut my pump because my door was open, after some "shrug/wtf are you doing why does that matter"'s he let me continue filling.. I went into the garage with a note to pay £20 on the dot.

turns out I was chaged for two seperate fillings.. to the sum of £22.604304 or whatever the fk.. fan fkin tastic.

gave the guy a bit of a rant

Never had an argument in a petrol station. Don't think I've ever seen anyone acting in an aggravated manor to a staff member. Maybe I only buy petrol in nice areas.

I suspect he thought you had left the door open to do a runner. I saw a drive off do exactly that, so I can understand why he might do it.
