Hi all
Can anyone tell me how to remove the back section of the hood on a tamora
The stiching has come away and it needs sowing
Also has anyone taken any photos of their car with the hood totally removed I bet it looks good.
And who can supply a new one and at what price.
Thanks CP

This happened to me two weeks ago. I put my hand through the rear window by accident and tore the rear window stitching
.
Didn't have time to take it down to Dulfords so a local auto trimmer put a new rear window in for me. The screws to release the hood are IN the boot right under the rear window hood. You have to feel right under the boot top. Apparently they are easy to unscrew. If you leave the boot lid open for a long time and you don't want to drain the battery with the pesky internal boot light, then push the boot catch down till it locks, this will turn the light off with the boot lid open. To release the catch just push the boot switch to open the boot.
Cost me £300 in the end. Expensive accident

Thanks for the help.
I live in the north and I have been quoted double that price
I have put other feelers out and hope this will bring the price down.I will have a look at removing the hood myself this might save £300 ha ha or I can buy a compltely new hood if I can find a company that makes them.
