What do you use on your Leather?
Discussion
I've just topped up the Autoglm shelf with some Leather cream but need to clean it first, I used to use a Guardsman kit that I bought for the sofa but I lent it to mate and never reclaimed it!
So before I go and part with some more moolah what do you find is the best product? It's biscuit coloured doeskin if that makes a difference?

yeh I've used this stuff as well.
The conditioner proposes to smell of leather. Though it smells nothing like it if you ask me.
But good stuff none the less.

I've just clicked on that link and at first glance I thought you'd sent me to a completely different type of site. Perhaps it is just me but that first picture didn't make me thing of a car interior at all!

To clean it use Lux Soap Flakes and a soft bristle brush.
PS Put the flakes in warm water.
Agreed - Lux is probably the best stuff to clean leather with full stop. Leaves the leather free of gloopy chemicals and really shifts dirt. Then use a gentle conditioner cream to feed the hide and keep it supple.

you have a dirty mind!!!!
i thought the same when i lookedIt rather depends how dirty it is. If it needs a good clean then soap flakes in HOT water works best. But you must recondition it after as a lot of the natural oils will have been washed away. I use Gliptone (liquid leather) cleaner for light soiling and their conditioner about twice a year. And it does smell of leather!

here's one to try...
