2008 Renault Laguna

A friend is looking to get an 08 plate Laguna Dci on finance for around 7/8k mark. Does anyone have any experiences with these cars? Can't find any informative owners reviews anywhere, so please help.

My Dad has got one and it is a decent car. Quiet, comfy and pulls well. However he works for Renault so it's well looked after. I suppose under warranty they are no problem. I would not like to own one out of warranty.

The Renault my wife had was the most expensive 'cheap' car we've ever had. I'd never have another.
