aa breakdown no discount!!

hi,

I'm about to renew my insurance i was offered national cover for 72 pounds with the RAC thought I'd call the AA to match it and I was told "we don't price match!"

How can i get a discount? The AA want 105. to give the lady credit she did say they'd match internet prices but no more.

I have searched online but to no avail.

Forget both and go with AutoAid instead - £37.50 for full cover.

what is their service like in the event of a breakdown? does that cover me in any car driver or passenger?

They use local recovery services in the area - you pay them and claim the money back. Covers you and your spouse for any car driver or pasenger.

If you use the likes of Quidco you can normally get a decent amount of cashback on either AA or RAC.

What cover from the AA is that qoute for? AA basic cover is £28 and national relay on line is £69.
I'd always go for a national company, either the AA or RAC for peace of mind.

Leave the AA and join the RAC.

Next year leave the RAC and join the AA.

Rinse and repeat.

I took the quote that allows home start as well. Think ill just take the RAC quote. Thanks Guys.

Not quite. You have to pay and then claim back, and in some instances there are limits.

Last year I got RAC roadside and recovery for 50p more than Autoaid would of cost.

This year I have the same cover with the AA on 2 cars for a shade over £42 once I get my cashback.

As someone said. AA this year. Rac next. Then repeat

You're not getting roadside, relay, home start, onward travel, etc for that price even with cashback though?
