Has anyone replaced their iPhone battery?

I just bought a 1600mAh version on fleabay, wondered if anyone had tried replacing the existing battery with a potentially longer lasting one?

I haven't done an iPhone battery but have done iPods and iPod touchs so they are possible!!

You tube iPhone take apart guide as you will probably find that it is soldered in and they can be a pig to get off and on again!!

Quite a bit to take apart, might see if someone who's done it before can do it for me. There are plenty of iPhone repair outfits about.

Just watched the video and that is a very easy battery to replace as it's not soldered on!!

I have case opener tools and silly little screwdrivers!! Might get one of those batteries for mine aswell!!
