Hi Guys

I have been running my Origin B2 for about 6 months now and i must say it's been really helpful in alerting me to the old BiB!

I do approx 30K per year in my company car and recently on my travels I have come accross sores of safety camera vans, with almost all using laser speed equipment. What I want to know is the following

1: has anyone fitted the LRC 100 to their car using the Origin B2 as the master unit?

2: if so, has the LRC 100 performed well?

3: also, was installation easy and was connection to the B2 unit easy?

I'm almost sold on buying the LRC 100 unit, but as it only has one jamming head, it only covers a smal portion of the car - so your opinions please!

Many thanks in advance

Paul

"sores of ... camera vans" we can all live in hope as to where they get sores ;-)

1. Yes
2. Yes
3. Installation easy, B2 has a problem with many false diffuser alerts from LRC100 caused by electrical noise, mostly solved by putting ferrite ring on cable near B2 in car mount, still get false alterts under high revs / heavy engine load

Thanks for that

What car have you installed your unit in? I will be installing the unit in a Ford Focus esatate.
What do you mean by a "ferrite Ring?" and where do you get one from?

Can anyone else give me a review of the above units?

Cheers

Paul

It is installed in a saloon car with plastic dash, and a black grille, b2 in car mount is behind driver side 'A' pillar - should be easy for discrete install in a Focus

Ferrite ring is "designed to cure electromagnetic and radio interference", I bought a clip on ferrite ring from maplin, so that I did not have to break made up leads

together with elastic band to hold the b2 onto the in-car mount, and avoid loss of satellite lock over small dips and bumps ...
