Just got back from my first roof-down drive this year - a delightful drive around some of the nicest parts of the New Forest.

Absolutely gorgeous spring weather and a lovely exhaust note for company.

Looking forward to lots more! biggrin

And here I am stuck in bloody London.... at work.... miles away from the V8V... listening to some idiot digging the road up outside, the siren of a fire engine and a phone that refuses to stop ringing.

Not happy =frown

It is indeed a beautiful day, but I respectfully claim first roof down drive for 9.00am New Years Day - and yes I did have gloves and a hat!

You lot are two months late!
I was out in mine roof down as soon as the snow cleared.
Crisp winter days with a coat and hat on are great!

Mikey, not fully up to speed on this one but, according to the Gregorian calendar, your drive would constitute a wholly different time period, ie IT WAS LAST YEAR? confused

A time machine would be good! laugh
Mid January blast over to Derby @ +2C
The Vantage is definately not a roadster genetically!
Dash is too dim, the heater is too weak and the high speed buffet is a PITA sometimes.

Well done for waiting for good weather, it's a bit sad when people have thier roofs down in unsuitable weather!

Why is it sad? The Astons have such great seat heaters and generally are very good from a wind point of view if you have the seat low so it's great; really nice feeling too!

It's just one of those things.

Certainly not the first time this year but we were out today - sans roof - in short sleeve order: Cirencester - Winchcombe - Sudeley Castle (closed frown ) - Batsford Arboretum - Cirencester - home. Roads relatively quiet which was a bonus...

Great weather, driving roads, scenery and company!

Z4 Soft Top - Yup, agreed.
Merc Convertible - Yup, agreed.
Aston Martin Volante - You could be dressed as Mr Blobby and you would still look fantastic cool

Can't remember who, but somoene's signature always made me chuckle... It read "If the roof is not down, the storm outside better have a name!"

That is mine on S2Ki.com as part of this animated gif!
Though the "more gas = less wet" is not true in the Vantage frown

It seems a bit sad that you want to decide for everyone what suitable weather is.
