Looking for a good garage for a MOT for a 7,000 mile GT3. Kwik Fit needs to road test to confirm brakes and no I am not permitted to be there at the time.........let me think about that one.....no we will pass on that I think. They think (probably right) the drop into the brake tester will damage the splitter.

Find a council-ran test station. They do not carry out repairs (not allowed to), but must be available to the public.

I know there is one in Bellshill somewhere, but it won't be the only one in the central region.

Because they don't do repairs, they're less likely to fail marginal issues unlike the kwik-st stters.

I use Carluke MOT Station. I know people who take their Ferrari's in there without thinking about it. Great garage and very customer friendly. I've seen some pretty exotic cars being tested there, only because my 2 Porsches need a lot of looking after.

For a friend or have you reinvested the GTR money?? cool
If its just an MOT why not use Braehead OPC - they're ok actually.

Yes my plan of waiting till after sept has most likely fell by the wayside. Heading over to Belfast to view and hopefully drive back. Went through its 111 check with flying colours yesterday. CS version with satnav, CF seats and a low mileage of 7k. We will see how it goes tomorrow. Everything in place.
