A bike for the Mrs

Sorry, another what bike thread!

Looking at a new bike for the other half. Budget is around £300, and will be used on roads and canal paths. We've been to Halfords this afternoon and she liked the look of this one:

Sorry, I cant help. I was actually just going to post a similar post as before I buy myself a new toy, I should really sort the gf out first.

I'm open to all lady friendly bike ideas.

Got an e-mail today from Cyclesports, their Giant Revel 3's look good value for money.
