Soft Top Sunday? - The guys at Goodwood are clearly an optimistic bunch arranging this for the first weekend in April so it seems only fair that we reward that optimism by dropping tops and heading out for another breakfast run.

We have a number of routes available to us and we tend to pic on nearer the date so we know what sort of cars are coming and what sort of weather we're likely to encounter

Soft Top Sunday is normally a busy GBC so we'll be leaving at 7am sharp to make sure that qualifying cars get in to the paddock and pit area. In terms of the drive, the normal rules apply, it's not a race or time trial just a leisurely drive down to the event in the company of other petrolheads.

So meeting at Guildford Catherdral (GU2 7UP) at 6.45am and leaving at 7am ...for a fun twisty route through the countryside.

Anyone is welcome to join us as long as they're comfortable driving in a convoy with the usual proviso that we all drive with respect to both the rest of the group and other road users.

Enjoyed this last year, despite the perishing cold hehe

Need to get the car back working again as I've hardly touched it recently...

Hello chaps, I have a question. I have a mini and haven't been to a Breakfast meeting before. Do I register on the Goodwood site or is that just for the soft tops?
I'm looking forward to this. My clutch went on the last Sunday Service, so this'll be be first PH meeting since the repair.

I've never registered, just bowled up whether my car is 'on theme' or not. Last year I parked on the start/finish line twice so I don't think you have to register.

You'll be fine...
The registration is so they get an idea of numbers at the event...they already know we're coming and have an idea of how many of us there will be (and it's a lot more than is on the list wink )

if you're on theme you'll have a chance of parking on the grid...if not then we should be early enough to get into the overflow car park on site rather than further away in the field

No need to register, that's only for those wishing to enter the line up on the grid (you need something a bit special for that, and 'on theme') So just turn up on the day.
