Where can I get one of these boats?

An old friend of mine wants to source one of these boats. He thinks that they are made in Scotland and are a GRP copy of a traditional loch fishing boat.

Any help in finding the manufacturer would be appreciated

Might be one of these but to be honest a simulated clinker grp boat isn't exactly a unique idea. Anybody that was a boatbuilder in the last 50 years could have taken a mould from a clinker rowing boat to be able to knock out cheap versions.

He currently has a traditional wooden boat which has gone rotten. He's over 70 now and doesn't want a a boat that needs a lot of maintainance, hence the choice of GRP

On the basis that a clinker built boat, even if not maintained at all, is going to last at least 20 years, how long does he reckon he's going to live?

The bloke who runs the rowing boats at Flatford (Suffolk) has a fleet of brown ones - so must be fairly easy to source.
