I've booked a driving lap day voucher with red letter for my Hubby for our 10th wedding anniversary, I don't know much about cars and I can't ask him as it would ruin the surprise, so if you had the choice of TWO of these cars what would you choose. The cars are A Lamborghini gallardo, a Ferrari 360, Aston martin v8 vantage, Audi r8, Porsche 911, lotus Elise, Mitsubishi evo or a subaru impreza. Thank you in advance Leanne.

Depends entirely on where he'd be driving the car really ...
Is it a track day, or like a hire day?

For me it would be the Gallardo for the thrill of driving a V10 supercar and the Elise as they're just so pure and chuckable.

The 360 IMHO just wouldn't be as special as the Lambo, Porsche 911 the same. Audi R8 would be cool but the Lambo has the edge.
Scooby and Evo, again quick but not different enough to attract me. Aston V8 Vantage, nice but not the quickest.

On a track day I'd agree with you.

Another vote for the Gallardo. The other car would either be the 911 or the Elise.

Gallardo and Aston for me. Very different to drive but I would image both a lot of fun

Problem is, the answer is going to vary depending on opinion, all desireable cars but very different.

Personally I wouldn't be fussed by the evo or impreza, but then plenty others would.

What sort of cars does he lust after? Pure driving machines, supercars or rally cars?

Nice present by the way smile

Definitely the Gallardo, the other would depend on the track a bit - something fairly tight and twisty, the Elise no question as the fun factor would override the pleasure of otherwise driving the vantage.

He may be old, but he talks sense ( sometimes)
I know you don't want to spoil the surprise, but cook the hubby a steak & ask him. Nice present by the way & I hope he looks after you.
