Guys,
I have recently jacked up my new purchase to give it a check over before the Track season starts.
On checking the wheels i find one side is rock steady, bearings ok, (but still have original hub nuts).
Best place for Porcshe rear hub nuts? And do you really need to change?

The other side(Rear)has good wheel bearings but i have a very small amount of movement when i test the wheel from side to side.
I think the slack is in the tie rod arm (i think that's what you call it), and as i can hear slight knocking when i do it, i assume that it is slack in the Rose joint and not the bush end.

Anyone else have experiences of this?

And if so what size Rose joint or bush, and where is the best place to buy? and approx costs?
Lots of questions im afraid.....
Thanks
Nick

My car had a loose a-arm as well as a shot wheel bearing. The scary thing about the bearing (right front) is that the tire showed no sign of wiggle when I jacked that corner up and tried to pull it off the car without removing the lug nuts. This may be because I had installed the Boxster nuts last summer.
