Day and weekend tickets for Porsche Festival 2004 are now available on-line from the festival web site - the web site also includes the provisional timetable and details of the many Porsche cars to be seen at this the biggest ever gathering of Porsche cars.

i think this show is going to be a huge success.

but its very very expensive especally is you don't happen to live in the south east of England. and if you want to take part in anything or see displays you have to pay extra, yes i know its for charity but i would prefer to give a volentry contrabution than be made to do so. personally i won't bother with the display areas as i can see them for free at other shows/events and OPCs throughout the year.

The parade laps are the only place where any ambiguity exists - I haven't seen any statement that the £30 per car goes to charity - since Jeff is advertising the event here, perhaps he could clear that one up on this forum?

Apart from that it seems good value for a day out - a typical decent raceday ticket at Brands is £15 after all.

Well done PCGB

I was "lucky" enough to attend a pre-event site meeting in November at Brands, I say "lucky" because driving horizontal rain that draws blood as it strikes your skin in the artic conditions isn`t everyone`s idea of fun !!

I can assure you it will be a truely magnificent event for any fan of the Porsche marque. The club has taken a big step by renting Brands for the weekend, Mr Palmer want`s slightly more than a packet of fags and a mars bar for the 4 days.

What will set it apart from all the other events certainly I`ve attended will be the fact that you get the chance to see cars moving under their own steam, not only that but you will get to see them driven to the limit during the races.

You even get the chance to drive your car round one of the most incredible circuits in the World. If you`ve never attended a race at Brands, or never driven your car round the track your breath will be taken away as you drop down Paddock Hill bend for the first time.

Ignoring all that there will be some priceless offerings from the Porsche history book on display - and being driven round the track.

As if that wasn`t enough you get the chance to meet up with old friends, meet new ones and generally have a lovely Bank Holliday.

I can assure you there is no dealer in the land, main or independent, who can offer this level of activity.

Oh yes, and I forgot all about the off road rally stage !

Oh and the concours event, and the register gatherings, and the fun fair, and the trade stands, soap box race, etc, etc.

In terms of pricing consider the cost of getting into the Goodwood Festival where you are one of a million people struggling for a brief glimpse of the rear wing of a car as it shoots up the hill out of sight.
