Petrol price conditioning

This afternoon I saw diesel for £1.359 at a supermarket petrol station.
My first thought was "Oh, that's cheaper."

Praise be to the government for making fuel such good value.

If it stayed at that price long enough for inflation to catch up it would be cheap.
