Beats this noble effort from Col http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0qJ7BPcWpVY IMHO
Ken Block is a showman pure and simple, all those vids of him having perfecr car control are practised over and over again (you can tell but all the tyre marks going the same way in the vids
).
Stick him in a rally and he inveriable falls off in spectacular fashion (see the above vids and loads like it on the web), i said this when he first started rallying when all the hype was at it's highest and got shouted down by all the fan boys so now i'm enjoying a moment of i told you so.

Wow that was a heavy one, poor chap, his confidence must be taking a beating.
Sure he is not inch perfect, yet, and does not have the luxury of another take just hope he keeps going and gets the money to keep re-shelling the cars.
Its hard to tell whether its a problem with him taking in notes, the notes themselves or him not driving appropriately but i hope he gets it sorted soon.
Its great for the sport, ditto Kimi... even though they get creamed by the real pros

Having seen him rallying in person previously, I wouldn't be anywhere near that harsh. He is a spectacular driver to watch and does have very good car control, but he just doesn't have that top-level pace or sense of when to back off from the ragged edge (when he's trying to keep up with top-level pace).

ETA: To give an idea of his performance on that occasion (3 years ago now!) he was just inside the top 10 in an NZRC Group-N field - Alister McRae was 5th or 6th and the guy who won the championship is currently leading the PWRC class in Portugal by 33 seconds.
