Went down yeaterday to the media day, unfortunately not as "Media" and silverstone is a pain from the wrong side of the fence!

But we had a crack anyway and here are the results:

Out of interest.. what size wheels do they have now? 17"s? on the focus in particular the rear wheels look completely out of proportion. mid you it's probably a funtion of the car being about as big as that old Vectra!

great photos BTW and really show the effort that's being made again on the BTCC liveries.

The cars look great but I am not a fan of the rally style numbers on the windows , I much prefer then in the traditional place on the drivers door.

I suppose it free's up a bit more sponsor space thats why they do it ?

I wonder how many times Andy Neate will be asked to move over this season???

That was a disgrace last season, and complete and utter joke. Felt so sorry for Onslow-Cole, Still not convinced by his break downs at Brands either....

Great pics though, looking forward to the opening round. Were the G50's there? If so did you notice if there was a driver called Joey Foster?

Seriously hope he was, I know he wanted to compete in the series was just finance dependent! He's top class imo!

The Ginetta media day was last Thurs (17/03).
Haven't seem his name on any of the entry lists, but from previous experience it doesn't necessarily mean he's not entered!confused

Thanks, thats ashame... He's been so unlucky (German F3 incident), and has always been rapid in anything he's sat in...

I think he was going with Speedworks, i'm not 100% sure of that though.

If they have to ask him to move over TC has a big problem. Andy is very nice, but not exactly quick...

Jamie, yeah I was just saying that with tongue in cheek...

I thought that was a disgrace last year, and TC has literally freefallen in my opinion of him... It was a complete and utter joke...

I don't disagree with team orders, but when there favouring the person not in front in the Championship.... The thing that was really stupid about it was at the time TOC could still have won the overall title... After what happened at Silverstone, TOC's problems at Brands which basically gave Chilton the independents title do seem a touch questionable!

I would have been seriously embarassed had I have been in TC's postion last year at Silverstone.
