Issues with choosing a car type - is it just me?

I often give myself a theoretical £20k budget (+ or - £5k) when browsing the PH classifieds - a position I may well be in in a couple of years but just dreaming for now, but I struggle to decide what type of car I want. So far, I've found myself looking at:

BMW Z4M Coupe
Mercedes SL55 AMG
Mercedes CLS55 AMG
RR full fat
Porsche 996 C4S

All very different cars and yet I find myself browsing ads for these cars - is this odd? Am I alone?

I've spent most of the last year doing this and still don't seem any closer to a buying decision and like you I have run through all sorts from 2 seater roadsters to big super saloons and have to come to the conclusion that there is no such thing as the perfect car for me out there at the moment. I am finding something I don't like about each choice I have looked at. The thing is my list of requirements isn't very concise so you'd think for £20-£25k, the world would be your oyster. I am either being too fussy or modern cars have just lost their je ne sais quoi.

I knew I should have bought that NSX a few years ago when I had the chance but the prices for decent one's of those seem to have gone into the stratosphere, probably because people realised that recent cars are just plain boring in comparison.
