Big trouble on M4 J10 to J11

Due to an accident involving a car towing a trailer west bound, it seems that there is chaos out there, going both ways. Been like that for about 45 minutes. Trafic reports state it is taking 55 minutes to get form J10 to J11

Good job it's 'POETS' day - Left Slough at 3.30 to go to J10 so must have just missed it!

Just taken an hour from Windsor/Slough central to Maidenhead, mostly due to broken down car in lane 3. With the 'Wombles' having coned the lane off and standing around chatting whilst waiting for recovery! Felt like getting out and pushing the fecking thing onto the hard shoulder to help clear the backlog. Traffic watch now showing queues back to the M25

First time ever my nav has warned me before I joined the mayhem, so managed to take the backroads. Been using J11 a lot more recently as the redevelopment does seem to have been pretty succesful, at least for the directions I normally go.

Hope it's cleared by now!
