Tank and a quarter at brands hatch on Tuesday. So around 20-22 mpg when I worked it out.
It is a standard very well cared for engine with low miles though. 1.8'mk2.

I took 50L of tesco's finest, got stung for the rest at the trackside pump.

Add £80's worth of derv juice for the return trip and you're into £190 on fuel alone.

Expensive hobby!

Any idea how much track time that bought you?

Mine was in almost constant use bar stoppages (and fill ups!)

I had a steady day to be fair... Plus it was a bit of a ref flag fest.
I think I did around 180 miles.

From memory my last one in the standard Mk1 chewed a tank and a quarter at 18.5L/100km, which equates to...

um...

er...

15mpg.

Hate to think what the turbo one is going to drink!
