Certainly the way these were heading.

I know the US marines are supposed to be good, but surely 4 off Osprey loads isn't quite enough to take Libya wink

The curious thing is where they have come from - fly from the US? (not the fastest aircraft around), or possibly a ship offshore.
Could be something to do with the up and coming jamming ops.

Stopped over in the Azores and then trailed to Mildenhall by a MC-130P. Apparently a feasibility study to see if they can replace the MH-60s used at Mildenhall for long range SAR rather than anything to do with Libya (in which case they would probably have gone direct to Italy).

Libya comment was tongue in cheek BTW hence the smiley smile
