can I add maps to my tomtom1 (america)

I have an old tom tom one with the uk map on it and I'm off to America (west coat) for my honeymoon in August and traveling to Las Vegas, San Fran and LA.

Can I add these maps onto my tomtom to help me while im out there? If so how?

I dont mind wiping the uk map off my tomtom and then putting it back on after my honeymoon.

any tips will be appreciated.

I do have an iphone but i don't fancy paying the 3g and roaming charges for using that.

Put the iPhone app on your phone and use that you don't need data for the app to work.

If you really want to add the North American map to your TomTom One assuming its got a memory card the easy way is to purchase a good quality 2GB SD card then copy everything from the old card to the new card, pop the card in the device to make sure it works then use the TomTom Home software to purchase and install your new map - Mike
