Had considered Centre Parcs but haven't heard much positive about them of late and their prices before the activities start range from steep to eye watering. Have been looking at Bluestone in Pembrokeshire which appears to be pretty reasonable against the service level but wondered if anyone had any experience of any other good parks in the UK?

We've been a little spoilt in years gone by whenever we stay in the Uk for the family holiday as we've used a very well presented and run family owned holiday park in south devon & well, the football shirt, gold chain, chain smoking, tattooed mums of six don't use the place.

Depending on when you are going have you thought about Holland?

We have used both Center parcs and Landal Green parks in holland and if you are cany with boats used, I'd suggest Hull, it can work is very competitive compared to south coast

Landals are a little more basic that CP's but this encourages you to get out and explore a bit more

Aly,

have a look at Griffin Forest just outside York.

Not a lot of on-site amenities (i.e. no Center-Parcs) but a lovely, quiet place for a getaway - dog friendly, and close to York for a day trip.

I've stopped questioning the logic, I just agree with SWMBO these days!

We owned a static in Blairgowrie for 3 years biggrin

We were at least 30 years younger than any of our neighbours!
