A thread for all the good guys out there who keep our vehicles on the road -many of which are small independents. I visited Sandford Tyres near Bristol today for a wheel alignment and balance. He checked the offside front, diagnosed and re balanced and then refused to take my money there and then just in case this was not the cure and I needed to come back. Well I will be going back again and thought he could do with some publicity.

Every RAC bloke I've ever called out has been punctual, polite, courteous, good-humoured and either sorted my car or got me home.

Same with the AA - one even dropped me at the airport once to get a plane after a breakdown meant I could not get there.
