Today's soar-away Sun

(pics are quite graphic - depicting shark bites on a porpoise)

Sorry, but I did laugh at the pic of the shark.

It doesn't look that big a bite when you compare it to the feet in the photo

Course it's on porpoise, it would hardly be accidental.

I have a big arse thankfully laugh

I have relative who was attacked by a Great White in Australia, thankfully he survived as it 'spat him out', but the stitches required to put him back together started at his shoulders and finished around his thighs eek They reckon he was mistaken for a tastey seal while paddling on his surfboard, instead the shark had a well marinated Aussie raised on Fosters that didn't taste so good laugh

Off the coast of Norfolk you say?

It's probably been employed by the NHS, who are trying to save money on 'extra limb' removal in the area

Could be a Great White? Hardly with a bit that small.....

But I sure do hope we get Great Whites off the coast of Norfolk, that'll make it a lot cheaper for me to go diving with them.

There are sharks around the coast of Britain well ish..... I'm not a fish spotter type but have seen some programes on tv where they have shown a breed called Tope (I think) pulled from the ocean and even river estuarys which are effectivly a small breed of shark and although they are tiny in comparison to a Great White you wouldnt want to get near there gnashers. To me this looks like a bite from a large one of these chaps.

Around the UK we have Porbeagle, Blue and Short Fin Mako which would be able to do this.

Factually correct. But journalists have never let facts get in the way of a nice dramatic story.
