I accidentally left my side lights on while visiting a friend today , it was only 5 mins certainly no more than ten . Car opened up ok , pumps primed up ok , turned over slowly but not enough to start , few more tries no go . Bump started the car and fired up but ran really lumpy , took a while for the car to settle but after a while started running ok .
It showed about 11 volts when not able to turn over , showed 13.6 volts running , i had thought the car was taking a few more revolutions of the starter to fire up recently . I do plug the accumulator if i am leaving the car for more than a couple of weeks but i don't use it all the time , should i ? surly it would mask a failing battery .
Is my battery on its way out , is there any way of telling if i have the original battery still on the car .
Thanks .
Dale

Just had the same problem, well same symptoms, my car is a 2003 and has a TVR battery, well that's what it says on itbiggrin I know TVR probably didn`t make itrolleyes
The spec is a bit unusual and i have really struggled to find one of the same rating 74ah 680 ca and only 260mm, i hopefully have a new one arriving on Monday,
which is 72ah 650 cranking and under 260mm which is the nearest i could find.

I am pretty sure I replaced mine with a Bosch S5 007. Dimensions are 175 by 175 by 278, but it fits. 74ah and 680ca. http://aa.bosch.de/aa-batterien/en/pkw/media/Produ...
