M3 E46 need help on sat-nav? wot are they?

can anyone help? what are the round markings on my sat-nav they keep coming up.

seems to match with bus stops strangely...

like you'd need a bus in the car....

Maybe they are just markers for any points of interest

Don't ever recall seeing those on mine but I'm guessing I'm running a later version as my position indicator is different (sort of chrome effect looking icon).

Pure guess, they're not locations you have saved in your address book are they?

Given that no one seems to know, I would drive to where one is located and see if anything of interest is there.

rang bmw today they have'nt got a bloody clue!!! stop outside one today and the only thing around me was a park and the road. dont no wot to say anymore,its a mystery

I got these on my sat nav in the M3 and 330 as well. Never did get to the bottom of what the hell they are meant to represent.
