Holiday ideas for early September
Discussion
My girlfriend and i want to go nice week away in early September. The criteria is:
Warm/hot weather
Beach
Watersports such as jetski etc
Some local attractions/sights/culture to visit
We have access to my parents Interval International timeshare, which seems to have places world wide of a decent quality, so we'd be looking at air fare and spends.
Budget wise we probably be looking at sub £1000 each for flights and spends which i appreciate will be the limiting factor given that we have access to the time share.
All suggestions welcome.

I haven't been, but friends all seem to rave about the Dominican Republic. Meant to be good value for money too.
However, my vote would be for southern Italy. Around the Amalfi coast. Positano/Sorrebto etc
Lots of culture and things to see/do rather than just the beachy stuff.
Could even take a trip to Pompei and Vesuvious. Most amazing!

Would recommend against the Caribbean in Sept. Not peak hurricane season, but by no means completely clear either! However, my vote would be for southern Italy. Around the Amalfi coast. Positano/Sorrebto etc

Learn something new every day. I have no idea where I thought it was. Geography not my strongest point
