ASBO kids, a Quad and a mini-Moto-x bike

[rant started] It's next door turns to look after his kids [happens every other weekend] so cue the normal uncontollable hysteria, screams, door slams, foul language, arguments etc etc that can be heard

GREAT NEWS!! ASBO dad [aka old school thug] has bought eldest ASBO kid a Quad and mini-moto-x bike! Cue tearing up and down a quiet cul-de-sac, at speeds far faster than I would dare in my car, on bikes with no plates [at least ASBO kid is wearing a helmet]

Other next door neighbour can't see a problem with it, some other neighbours are not in, people further up the road are out seeing what all the noise is about, and I am twitching like I have severe tourettes every time he blasts past my car just in case he smacks it

Normally I just stick the car in the garage and let them get on with whatever it is they do, but we have a garage full at the mo so the car has to stay on the drive

What would you do? Having a word with ASBO dad is out of the question as he's gone out [not that he would understand anyway, as I doubt he has evolved enough to understand syllables]

Moving my car is a possibility, but that just moves the problem further down the road

Call to plodsville is a waste of time, as by the time they have come round ASBO kid would be a teenager

I guess put up and shut up is the way forward and let merry hell break loose if any scratches are found on my car

Police wouldn't be interested

Social services generally don't give a f**k as long as actual child abuse is not involved

OP would get his car torched for "grassing" (they would figure out who it was that made the anonymous call, it would be fairly obvious)

If you don't give a fk about consequences in the UK, you can get away with a lot.

Just phone the police over and over untill they turn up. After all if he is on the road driving a vehicle Id assume hes doing it without insurance. Ive seen them take mini motos off people.
Failing that wait till they go back in the house, get in your car and bounce it off the limiter?

get someone to phone the police for you and tell them whats happening ,and to tell the police you've gone out to confront them yourself.. ..... we've used this ourselves and they turn up in minutes

Certainly where i live, that's true, but i know where my mum lives(hertfordshire) the police are a lot better at responding to stuff. Fair point though

Mini quad bikes and mx bikes have got bad news written all over them - very often they'll be bought by real scrotes - and they will steal them even more.

I have two friends who own motorbike shops - one who's insurance will not cover his shop point blank if he has childrens MX bikes in there and the other who had some briefly but soon gave up after his car got nicked and then he got ram raided - all for a kiddies Aprilia mxer. Worst of all though were the type of people that it drew into his premises - I've seen this and just dodgy s is how you'd describe them. They make you very uneasy indeed.
