Hello and Welcome. Most of the residents here are very friendly (including the odd bib or 3), as with any forum though there is the odd cretin who are best ignored dont feed the trolls

Welcome along, hope you enjoy. If you fancy hooning there's plenty of willing candidates here who get together. Look out for the North Hants run under "events and meets". It's in your neck of the woods smile

Hello OP - I'm in Newbury just down the road. Also got a BMW-mad friend who works at Dick Lovett, so I can appreciate your love of the Bimmers.

I'll keep a lookout for your M6!

Hello Simbu, does he/she work at Dick Lovett Hungerford? If so I probably have spoken to them.

Abingdon sounds good, have never done a track day before. M6 may be a little heavy for it though? Mind you would be a good way to send off the rear tyres. Wonder whether I could 'borrow' something a little more lithe......

No it'd be fine, it's all about the fun factor I've seen Pics of old Volvo estates and an Sclass on track at Cadwell park hehe

Abingdons quite open so would be good in a big powerful car.
Also be a good chance to meet a few of the usual suspects whistle

P.s Abingdon is an airfield so would be best for a first trackday as there is nothing solid to hit if you do get it wrong smile
