I know we dont like adverts on the forum as we have a classified section to do that but i am just giving a heads up incase someone building up a car is on here.

I am having a garage sale of ex-project bits and bobs and will be posting some classifieds up in the coming weeks.

I thought i would mention here what items i am thinking of moving on incase there is particular interest to someone restoring or readying a taimar (which is what i was doing)or m series for trackdays etc.

First thing to go will be the wheels and tyres as they were comissioned from Compomotive as specials to suit the Taimar fitment (i just couldnt buy them anywhere else and really prefered the look of these wheels).

Hopefully i have managed to post a picture but here is the spec also:-

Compomotive MO1771 six spoke alloys 7X17, ET2, 4x114.3mm(4.5") in Satin Black. I am selling 4 wheels without tyres and 4 wheels fitted with brand new unused Falken ZEIX ZE912, 215/45ZR17 91W tyres. They have black plastic low profile centre caps fitted with TVR logo's. The wheels used standard 60 degree taper nuts not included.

These were purchased for my car which had slightly stiffer than normal suspension settings and was already running 7X17 compomotives in a different style.

Ask any questions about fitment etc and if you

I can post more pics.
Cheers,
Phil.

Hi Phil,

I assume these fit the standard M series suspension set-up. I am presently looking for wheels for my 1974 5000m project. What are you asking for the set of rims only? There is a large pond between your wheels and my project. Would you be willing to ship them?

Many thanks,

Arthur

The 4x wheels without tyres are £150 each per wheel and with the tyres fitted are £200 each per wheel.

I can ship via UPS if you are willing to foot the bill and cover the insurance etc, i will get a quote if you are still interested.

Good to hear of a 5000m project in progress, any pics?
Cheers,
Phil.

Hi Phil,

Please send me a quote for shipping and insurance. My e mail is catfishdb@gmail.com. The final destination is Toronto, Ontario, Canada, M6H 4A6.
The shop that has been working on the car has almost finished all the modifications to the chassis. They are about to strip it to have it powder coated maybe next week. When it is back in their shop I will photograph the various bits. They have fabricated a roll bar and a new aluminum gas tank that has a tubular frame surrounding it to protect the tank f it were rear ended. The tank is still almost 80 litres.

Thanks,

Arthur
