a very bad squeek has developed from the back of the sag, and its driving me nuts.

it happens going over bumps ect, so on the island roads its fairly consistant, but it doesnt seem to be the shocks as bouncing each corner in every conceivable way does not make the noise, plus it doesn`t do it all of the time, and it still does it if I lightly apply the brakes when driving, so will have each rear wheel of and also get under the car to try and find it, anyone had a similar experience and found the cause of the problem?

I also get a strange squeek coming from the back, sounds like it's rear window. Strange!!!

thats exactly what I first thought, so wrapped a bit of insulation tape around the spigot and it closes nice and tight, then today with both windows open you can hear it quite loudly, so I think its under the car at the back somewhere.

The exhaust hanger wires can break and leave the exhaust unsupported so that can squeak when going over bumps

Yep, exactly what ive got. RG have sent me new hangers the other day. They rubbers perish through and i found the whole rear boxes suppoted by the through pipe that was resting on the rear deffuser. Squeaked like buggery and didnt sound much to worry about until i looked underside to find what the hell it was. eek

Top of spring on upper wishbone?
Spray wd40 to top of spring.

Exhaust on chassis under front of diff?

Fuel tank not central, rubbing on body?
Undo straps and centralise by easing tank from body.
