Help, Ford Cougar v6 knocking

My engine has developed a knocking noise on the top end of one cylinder in the rear bank, the noice gets worse with the revs it tends to settle down when under 2000rpm but after that gets worst with the revs. its rather loud and worrying. any ideas what the problem could be would be much apreciated. Thanks

If its loud then either strip it down yourself or TOW it to mechanic

before it gets worse and something breaks and does the whole engine in

yeah guna have to strip it down, not paying someone else to do it haha
