Medication on Holiday

Would appreciate any comments please.

Just booked a holiday in Germany,
the question came up about taking/using prescribed medication,
(I use 2 x inhalers for asthma),
it is my responsibility to make sure that my 'drugs' are not illegal
in the countries we are passing through and visiting.
I use 'ventolin & seretide' will be taking pain killers also, where do i look to find out this info.

If you were going to Dubai, I'd worry.

Germany? Just take any prescriptions with you. It's highly likely that any drugs which are legal here are legal there, one happy EU and all that.
