An all new BMW meeting! Held on the first Monday of every month at The Elm Tree in Heath, just off the M1 at Junction 29 (A617). The website is http://www.theelmtreeheath.co.uk/
Directions? It’s easy. Come off at J29 of the M1, take the B6175 to North Wingfield. Drive along this road for 1/4 of a mile and take the first turning right. This takes you into Heath, and the Elm Tree is on the right, past two other pubs. It has a nice big car park and Heath is a very small and very nice village.
We’ve used this place for our Xmas dinners and it’s very good - the food is outstanding yet not expensive.
The first thing - if you have an interest in BMW’s, you are welcome to come along. We don’t bite and are definitely not snobby or standoffish. I don’t own a car worth more than a grand! For 14 years we used to meet at the Winsick Arms/Telemere Lodge, but it’s time for a change.
We’re looking to really expand this meet and make it the best BMW monthly meeting in this area - we have a very wide range of German metal from E21’s to E46 CSL’s and we have all different takes on BMW. Some of us do trackdays, some do concours - some do both! Most of us do our own maintenance so if you have a car with an issue, we can point you in the right direction.
In the summer, we used to have a good carpark full - we can only do this if you bring your car along! Please come and join us for a good feed, some very good local brews and nice cars.

Kick off is 7.30pm.

Any questions, please PM me or contact Steve Bostock on 07811 722742, and we look forward to seeing some new faces.

I live not far from J24 of the M1 so might make the trip up although, to sound like a girl, it would be nice if it were closer!

I'm at junction 26, but a sunny evening could tempt me for sure, it'd be nice to see some bmw's... I'm always game for a meet without idiots driving around attracting unwanted attention from the plod...

Lets keep it nice & civilised guys! wink

Guys - I'm astounded by the interest in this!

Please come on up and make yourselves known. At least two of us will be there at 7pm so if you pitch up at 7.30, it'll be bang on. We've asked the landlord if he'll do some bar meals as well (i.e less than a tenner) and the food here is very good.

Any questions - please PM me.

Thanks again.

It sounds good to me, I've got a few friends (mainly volkswagen boys) who might be up for the run out one evening. But I should be up for the meet on the 4th!

One other question, what type of cars normally head up there, as in new models or older or both?

Cheers Ben,

Sounds good. Would an E30 M3 be welcome?

Might not make the first one as it's my birthday but will definitely try to make some others.

Is the Pope religious?

I'm a massive fan of these so you'd have to fight me off it if I saw it there!

I could possibly make one of these once the nights are lighter as I don't finish work until 8ish.

We're not adverse to a nicely turned out Dub or two. :-)

Touring, is this meet anything to do with the owners club? I'm guessing some of those attending are members?

It is mate. About 7-8 of us are BMWCC members, (maybe more) but it's absolutely no problem if you aren't.
