A pair of my wheels went missing in transit recently. To be fair it appears it was someone at stty Link who actually stole them, but the delivery was arranged via the courier mentioned above and I've yet to hear back about a refund.

I'm sure it's all very last week to them, but personally I can't afford to lose 500 quid - that's the reason I'm having to sell off old bits of the car in the first place! I've had to refund the bloke who bought them in the meantime and I'm not happy about the way they casually explained 'that someone must have nicked them'.

Ive recently used shiply.com - its similar to ebay as you post your item with pickup and dropoff points and couriers 'going that way' bid on the amount. It worked out quite cheap. Just be mindfull of the £6 charge the website slap on top!

I've used these once to pick up a set of steel wheels for my forester I'd won on ebay. http://www.ebaycollection.co.uk/
They cost £60 to pick up from Kent and deliver to North Lincolnshire IIRC. It helped that the seller had put them on a pallet and secured them, thta made it cheaper.

I can't think of a cheaper way to do it. I couldn't drive there and back for £60. Luckily the wheels only had delivery mileage on them and with the carriage were still cheaper than breakers wanted for a tatty set.

I can. The courier I use charges £35 or £45 for 4 wheels. All you gotta do is put them in two boxes and label them up...

If you want to get them boxed individually and sent as four packages in one consignment, get on http://www.parcel2go.com and see who's cheapest. I had HDNL deliver my alloys, flawlessly, for £26, which I really can't argue with!

Everyone seems to say Paisley Freight straight off. How much do they charge?
