The MR2 quote stands out as good value.

Landrover quote seems reasonable. I'd go for that and move onto something else once you get past 25.

Out of all at lot only the 740 makes me go "ouch"

I thnk the rest are reasonable for an under 25 yr old one what are not exactly run of the mill cars.

If those quotes all came from a comparison engine you can probabaly get that down quite a bit too using specialists.

Why is the price for the Suzuki Cappuccino so high? Are parts expensive or difficult to get hold of?

He said that was a quote from the comparison site, so I guess he's saying the quote is ridiculous.

That's a fair question.
I currently pay just shy of £1000 for my cappuccino (with a provider not on the comparison website) They were cheaper at renewal time.

They are hard to get hold of. Being as they've not been made since 1997 and only 500 left on the road in the UK.
And they are Group 13
Due to turbo and RWD and convertible...

The difference between the 735 and the 740 seems pretty nonsensical to me. With a debadge who'd know the difference?

Well the 740 does have a V8 instead of the |6

I doubt it, MR2 tubbys are very reasonable to insure, especially considering they are imports. I used to insure mine when I was 23/24 with all mods declared (running 300bhp) for about £650, a couple of years ago.

Most of the quotes are quite reasonable from what I've been paying since moved to the UK smile

Yep, I went from TPFT on a diesel Cavalier, to FC on a 1990 MR2 GTi, and my premium went down by £200. Go figure...

True, but is there really that much performance difference? It's still a lardy slushmatic barge

eta apparently the character in your username makes it unquotable

Well, being a RWD, mid engined, high power car, it will need to be driven quickly, but only tools put them into hedges. Certainly not that tail happy, and I've had 2 of them.
