Advanced Driving Help

Hi there.

I am a newbie to TVR's, and pick up my Chim 98 4.0l next weekend.

I know these cars be a bit of a handful at times and would like some advice on where I should go to get some advanced driving tuition. I'm 28 and I've owned fast sports cars since i was 21 but these have mainly all been front wheel dirve, either hot hatch or Jap FTO etc. I have owned a 2001 540 Sport for the last year and alhtough very powerful and fast and rear wheel drive it does have every conceivable drivers aid on it and is almost impossible to spin out even in the wet with the DSC turned on!

I live in near Reading in Berks so if anyone knows anywere or can recommend somehwhere for me to get some decent tuition and understanding of driing a "proper" rear wheel drive sports car I would relaly appreciate it!

Do a search for Ride-Drive and 'advanced driving'. And in the meantime drive like you're on ice

Agreed, never heard a bad thing about Ride-Drive and have talked to plenty who have used them ... I shall be booking a session myself soon (after I can drive again after falling down the stairs on Saturday!)

These chaps are local to you and may be of some assistance. Its also very cost effective...

More "performance" oriented tuition will get expensive quickly - but there again will also be a top laugh!
