Had a nightmare with the current make (Stuart Turner). On the 3rd and they seem to have a quality issue.

Recommendations/Ones to avoid please?

We've never had a problem with ST on any of our jobs. Are you absolutely sure it's not cavitating?

I have no idea what you are talking about!!!

The issue is it runs on its own (starts 5 minutes after you have finished a shower) - low level noise, not as high pitched as when running normally. The first didnt do it, but was damaged by flux. The 2nd and 3rd run on their own (there is no leak in the system).

I'm no expert, but it sounds like water movement through the flowswitch. I'd check out the piperuns etc before giving up on the pump.

With help from Stuart Turner we isolated the flow and it continued to run. They didn't even diagnose the first failed one - sort of admitting there was an issue of some sort.
