Best (cheapest) place for Pirelli P Zero?

Chaps, soon I'll need 2 Pirelli P Zero tyres in 245/50/17 size. A quick Google makes me gulp somewhat as prices are between £250 - £289 each, if they have them in stock at all.

Can anyone recommend a decent supplier for Pirelli??

Seems expensive! I got some in 245/40/18 a couple of weeks ago for £162 each fitted at Bower Lane Tyres in Maidstone, Kent. Definately worth ringing around the local guys.

I told you those DHP tyres were expensive Garlick!

Consider 225/55, within 1% rolling dia, much more choice, yes they fit, poss better ride quality too.

Which P Zeros do you need? P Zero Rossos are out of production. I'm not sure but I think the Neros are less "performant" (?)

I've just managed to bag a couple of new Rossos in 245/35ZR19 from eBay. Try eBay member all-tyres.

Micheldever tyres usually do well on price, but you have to call rather than looking online.


Can't you get the ad dept to find a tyre supplier to get on board?

You did, but it was all too late by then

If I do that I'll have to change all four, no? The two rears are only a few months old you see....

Looks like they only do the Bridgestone run-flats, as do mytyres & blackcircles.

I'd put 225/55s on the front myself. Then again on the back in 10k miles once they've worn out too



There's a set of 5xDHPs on fleabay with half worn Pirellis for £250. Buy them, have the tyres off then sell the wheels on to me

I'm not near my car (I'm not even in the UK) but I think the Rossos are Asimetrico (sp). Try that eBay seller; in the size I wanted they were £190 inc P&P and the online tyre places which claimed to have them in stock have hiked their prices up to £280 or so, as you've found out.

www.reifen.com are a big German tyre company that will ship to the UK (I bought my winter tyres from them). According to their website 2 x Pirelli 245/50 ZR17 99Y Pzero Asimm plus delivery would be €478 (approx. £421 by xe.com), which is £210 per tyre including delivery.

Bitte Schön, are they for the TVR, Lexus or Mercedes?

Riefen are also good for winter tyres, particularly in summer, as due to the legal requirements for them in Germany they have a large stock. A few months ago when the UK was seemingly barren of winter tyres they had plenty.
