Quick tyre advice please!

Just got a call saying my S4 failed it's MOT on damage to a tyre. At the moment it has Goodyear Asymmetrics, should I replace with two new Asymmetrics or Asymmetric 2's? Can I mix and match on a quattro?

What's the best place to look for prices other than black circles and mytyres?

Can't help with the first part but on the second, sounds daft but give your local Hometyre a call - when I needed some tyres a while back they were the same price as I could get them online, with the added bonus of them fitting them and coming to you to do it, was an excellent service.

Best not to mix n match really, should at least stay the same on the same axle. Try camskill.co.uk

The existing ones only have a few mm above the indicator block anyway so I am thinking about replacing all 4 and using 1 of the old ones as a spare. Could I sell the remaining 2?

Continental SportContact 5P seem to be cleaning up in all the recent tests.

Personally, I don't rate Conti at all, I've had their tyres on various cars and was never satisfied with them. Then again, I don't rate Goodyear either, I preferred Bridgestone Turanza ER300 to the Eagle F1-A, both of which I had on my Vectra.
