help needed with tuscan seat!

I have a really annoying problem with my drivers seat in my tuscan, the bloody thing sometimes decides to move back and forward when i'm driving it and its making my blood pressure rise! I've taken the seat out and can see no problem with the runners or the bar, but when you put your foot down the car goes forward and i go backwards!! Any ideas please?!

Ah, mine did that when I first got it - don't half make you jump when it happens! STR8SIX fixed it for me - I don't know the details but the invoice said "Remove seat and re-shim - £35"

Hi,

Had the same problem when I bought mine. Took me 4 thick M8 washers under the frontside of both rails to fix it.
Problem is that the adjusting lever of the seat is resting upon the carpet. Therefore it isn't released far enough which causes the seat (under te brute accerelerating force of our beloved speedsix) to flip out of the fixation.

It's really an easy fix.

Thank you, i will try the m8 washers and if that doesn't work off to str8six!!

I find that pressing the bar down until I feel the lock engage is good enough. Just releasing it and hoping it will find the slot rarely works.
