Has any one tried the 300 workout

Which goes like this

25 bodyweight pullups
50 deadlifts at 60kg
50 pressups
50 box jump-ups on 24 inch box
50 floor sweeps (ab exercise)
50 single arm clean and press (25 each arm) at 16kg
25 bodyweight pullups

Did it in 20min 15 sec, that was my first attempt so can't wait for Sunday to see if I can do it quicker

It is hard

Also, given that this is the millionth time this workout has been posted. This wasn't used to train the actors in question who all had the strictest dietitians, trainers etc... This was just used towards the end for them as a game of sorts!

And some, rumors were abound at illegal drug use by the cast to achieve their shapes, not to mention all of the images and also the film was altered to make the bodies look better!

Although it's all definitely possible! But getting to that level is blimmin difficult!
I think the rumours were made by fattys.

I agree, I mean no showbiz start ever used illegal drugs to enhance their figures right!
It's all CGI, every movie star is actually a fatty.

This.

Also, it's really rather fun to do, as an irregular workout to take a break from the normal lifting. Last time I did it I was pretty bad during the pullup stages, but I've greatly improved my pullups since then, so I reckon my time would be much lower. Will probably do it again at some point during the Summer.

I'm sure there's another thread on this in this forum. I vaguely remember that the 300 workout was used as a regular test for the cast to measure performance rather than an actual routine to follow.

Definitely worth throwing into a workout every now and again to add variety, but I wouldn't do it more than once a week.

Yes there was a thread about 6 months or so on here.

I do the 300 regularly as part of my overall program - it's bloody good and gets the old heart pumping.
