Sad news, appears to be depressed after death of a loved one. Have seen him a few times and he's always buzzing, always friendly and a nice guy. My daughter when she was eight or nine really liked him when he came on the telly so I asked him to send a signed photo to her and he took the time and trouble to compose a hand-written letter to her as well.

Bit early for speculation I suppose but really would hope for a happy ending to this one.

It's good he's been found alive. He's a really nice guy on the radio of an afternoon in these parts. I hope he can get back on his feet again.
