Hi Again
The whole of my car is covered in Paintshield!! If it has paint on it , it has film protecting it!! I have had it for over a year now and absolutely no chips!! And believe me I have heard a couple rattle across the bodywork!! I've been out and found myself diverted down all sorts of stty country lanes due to road works etc,got to my final destination and the car looked like a tractor - covered!! I could have cried!! Honestly it was caked!! Once home and 'gently cleaned' off still no signs of chipping!!
So far can't recommend Paintshield highly enough, the film does it's job!! (Unless you are unlucky enough to be hit by a brick!!) Everyone I have dealt with at the company have been spot on and have been more than helpful with after care instructions!! I have found the film will swirl and mark like any other paintwork (If detailing bothers you!!)but have not tried to correct these defects myself as of yet!! But will do!!
Like you I am fussy ( Anal!!) about paintwork etc, had my whole car detailed then the cars paint defects sorted, Paintsheild fitted and like I have said before so far more than pleased!!
Price wise four figures come to mind and am sure it started with a '2'!! I also have a wife!!!!

let me know how you get on,

Cheers

Is it safe to apply Paintshield (or anything else for that matter) on new paint? I was always advised that the paint and/or clearcoat had to cure and harden first (can take 2-4 weeks to fully cure). Sounds like your car is going to be off the road for quite a time then?
